彼女が思い浮かべる「空色」。

from Fashion Story “She is …”

Q. issue 12のテーマ「空色」から何を連想しますか。

A. 最近私は織物を始めて、それから周囲にあるさまざまな色が目につくようになった。
空色は、家に帰った後の暖かい気候に包まれたひと時を思い出させてくれる。

ロンドンではあまり見られないけれど、雲ひとつない空と晴れた日の海の色を除いて、自然界で空色はなかなか現れない。
そう考えると空色と出会う瞬間は、さらに特別に思える。

What does the “sora-iro” color reminds you of?

I’ve started weaving recently, so I’ve been taking more attention to color, especially around my surroundings. Sora-iro mainly reminds me of days back home spent in warmer weather.

I think given that the color does not appear that often in nature except as a cloudless sky（which doesn’t come often in London）and maybe the sea on a good day, it makes it that much more special when you do encounter it.
